Executive Director

Mr. Miano is an expert in designing, managing and monitoring health governance and human rights programmes including health policy advocacy, health financing and community monitoring. He has over 15 years’ experience in providing organizational strategic direction, leadership and capacity strengthening. He is an Anthropologist by training with a BA (Anthropology) and Master’s Degree of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi.

Bernice has over 10 years’ experience in Financial Management and Banking. She holds Msc. in Finance (Finance and Investments) Maseno University; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Section 5 and Diploma in Management Information System from the Institute of Management Information Systems (UK).
She oversees financial management and administrative functions.

Jemimah Muthoni

Jemimah has over 10 years work experience in enhancing community resilience to mitigate multifaceted effects of HIV/AIDS, SGBV, mental illness and disability.
br>She is a social advocate for the right to health, a mental health champion, budget and accountability facilitator. Her passion is transforming service users into policy shapers, decision makers and agents of citizen led demand for transparency and accountability in utilisation of public resources.

Elizabeth is an experienced human resource personnel, for over 8 years working as an Administrative Assistant. She holds a Diploma in HRM, and she’s an ongoing student undertaking a higher diploma in human resource management.

Eunice is an enthusiast of communication and its systems with a background training in Telecommunications. At HERAF she contributes to the communication functions.

Lucy Mwati

Lucy has over 11 years of experience in theological counseling, governance, conflict management and peace building, sexual and gender based violence mediation.She has expertise as a human rights defender, civic educator on matters social accountability, creating mental health awareness for decision making and inclusion of people with mental health disability. she holds a bachelors degree in conflict management from Northwestern Christian University.

Peter Mutiso

Peter is a reliable, responsible, hardworking, and result-oriented professional who holds a diploma in basic theology, a certified agronomist, leadership, monitoring and evaluation.

He is a WHO-certified mental health and human rights champion. He has experience in community development /empowerment, leadership, mentorship and agronomy. He possesses skills in project implementation / management, monitoring & evaluation and promotion of justice through advocacy.

Milcah holds a certificate in Health Records and Information Technology from KMTC, and has a certificate in computer operations studied at Scott Christian University.She is a responsible, hardworking and a team player who has one and half years experience practicing as a Health Records and Information Technology Officer under ministry of health.she also has an experience working with different programs in management of vulnerable groups in the community.
