Executive Director

Mr. Miano is an expert in designing, managing and monitoring health governance and human rights programmes including health policy advocacy, health financing and community monitoring. He has over 15 years’ experience in providing organizational strategic direction, leadership and capacity strengthening. He is an Anthropologist by training with a BA (Anthropology) and Master’s Degree of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi.

Bernice Kiragu

EducationMsc. in Finance (Finance and Investments) Maseno UniversityDiploma in Management Information System from the Institute of Management Information Systems (UK)Bernice has over 10 years’ experience in Financial Management and Banking. She holds Msc. in Finance (Finance and Investments) Maseno University; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Section 5 and Diploma in Management Information System from the Institute of Management Information Systems (UK).She oversees financial management and administrative functions.

Jemimah Muthoni

Project Officer

Jemimah has over 10 years work experience in enhancing community resilience to mitigate multifaceted effects of HIV/AIDS, SGBV, mental illness and disability.She is a social advocate for the right to health, a mental health champion, budget and accountability facilitator. Her passion is transforming service users into policy shapers, decision makers and agents of citizen led demand for transparency and accountability in utilisation of public resources.

Elizabeth Semo

Admin Assistant

 Elizabeth is an experienced human resource personnel, for over 8 years working as an Administrative Assistant. She holds a Diploma in HRM, and she’s an ongoing student undertaking a higher diploma in human resource management.

Lucy Mwati

Lucy has over 11 years of experience in theological counseling, governance, conflict management and peace building, sexual and gender based violence mediation.She has expertise as a human rights defender, civic educator on matters social accountability, creating mental health awareness for decision making and inclusion of people with mental health disability. she holds a bachelors degree in conflict management from Northwestern Christian University.

Paul Gatitu

Project Assistant

Paul Gatitu has over 8 years’ work experience across different sectors including social innovation and development, humanitarian work, youth empowerment and leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and Diplomas in Environmental Management and Project Management as well as certification in Disaster Management, Safeguarding and Child Protection and Quality Rights. He has special interests in community led development, civic education, youth empowerment, public accountability, budget advocacy, resource mobilization and disaster risk reduction. Through this he has seen the transformation of communities into sustainable and development-oriented spaces.Paul is currently the Project Assistant overseeing the implementation of the Strengthening Public Accountability and Citizen Responsiveness in Kenya Project (SPARKe) in Machakos County.

Mwangi is a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial analysis and strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from KCA University and has expertise in budgeting, strategic resource allocation, and financial management.He is a budget champion, an advocate for social accountability, and a skilled facilitator. He possesses a profound passion for writing and actively advocates for human rights.

Lordlaro is a Public Health professional with extensive skills and experience in health research, project management as well as community health initiatives. Proven expertise in health education, health promotion and disease prevention with a strong commitment and passion in promoting health equity.He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health with Information Technology.

With a passion for evidence-based solutions, Victor aims to contribute to the development of inclusive healthcare systems that prioritize human rights and provide equitable access to care for all communities.

Outside her professional work she maintains a keen interest in football appreciating its role in bringing communities together and building team work.
