Dr. Suleh is a Consultant Physician, renal and tropical medicine specialist. He has over 40 years’ experience working with the government of Kenya in the areas of management, training, research, development, implementation and management of medical conditions including HIV/AIDS, renal diseases, diabetes, tuberculosis and malaria.

He is a recognized academician who gives honorary lectures at the University of Nairobi (School of Medicine). He has trained in HIV&AIDS care, treatment, prevention and support under NACC, AMREF Health Africa, Family Health International (FHI) and MEDS. In sports he has helped to ensure that policies are put in place to prevent and treat sports injuries and this has been received very positively by the sports administrators and the world governing body FIFA.

Among the key positions he has held include Medical Superintendent, Mbagathi District Hospital, Nairobi County; Chairman, Kenya Medical Association (KMA), Head, Medical Committee, Kenya Football Federation (KFF), Head, Medical Committee, Kenya Professional Boxing Commission, Director, National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) and Vice Chair, Kenya Healthcare Federation, and Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).
